Beautiful wheel thrown mug, beautifully decorated with poppies. This particular method of decoration is called sgraffito, where an image is created by carving through a layer of underglaze to reveal the color of the clay below. White clay with black underglaze, deep botanical green interior.
All items are made by hand, by me, from start to finish. As with all handmade items, slight irregularities in size, shape, and color are to be expected, and serve only to enhance the unique beauty of each piece. No two pieces are exactly alike!
